Background and aims of the conference
The event is a follow up workshop of the conference “New trends in profinite groups” held in Levico terme, September 2021.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together the major experts on profinite groups with number theorists working with profinite groups. These mixed meetings were initiated by O.H. Kegel and A. Lubotzky in the late ’80’s of the last century and provide an active interaction between group theorists and number theorists.
